I've been on vacation, in the summertime. Anytime I hear the word vacation, I have to sing that 1960 something song that my parent's loved to listen to.
Anyway, despite some major jet lag right now, I have a few photos to share from our trek through Europe. We have become good friends with a family who is originally from Germany. They planned to move back in 2005 and we promised to visit in 2006. When they decided to stay in the US an extra three years, we decided to visit anyway. We had a wonderful time visiting with their friends and family in Attendorn, Germany and visiting Paris, Zurich, Munich, and Cologne.
When my head is back on straight, I'll post a list of pros and cons from the trip. I can say now, though, that I was simply amazed by the good behavior of my two children (they get that from their mother, right?)

Where do I begin???
First of all - WELCOME BACK!! So glad you made it home safe and sound!
Second - these photos are absolutely amazing. I love you use of angles. And the boat ride photo was done perfectly. The effect really 'makes' the image.
Love love love the sun flare on the Louvre picture.
One word: WOW
Thanks for sharing.
