Yet Another August Wedding

Another great wedding in August!
I had the opportunity to photograph this wedding with Neysa.
She is a great friend and wonderful photographer- I always enjoy working with her.
Here are a few of my images of the day. Take a look and see how wonderful it is to have the perspective of two photographers on your wedding day. Also, please comment on the potential new logo.

Another August Wedding

Earlier in August, my husband and I had the privilege of attending this wonderful wedding. He is a friend of my husband's from high school. (Hard to believe how long ago that was). We sent the kids to grandma's for a "grandma 'venture" and set off on a nice quiet weekend. We had a great time meeting and talking with the bride and groom's friends and family and were even able to get in a nice run on Saturday morning.
The ceremony for the wedding was unique and full of tradition, all tastefully explained. The reception was a wonderful party where the bride and groom put everyone to shame on the dance floor. (I truly believe I have two left feet.)
All-in-all it was a wonderful weekend.
Best wishes to the happy couple.

August wedding

What an amazing wedding with an amazing couple. I took more photos in one night here than I did in my two week vacation to Europe. Thanks to lead photographer, Neysa , for making my job so much fun (a photogenic bride and groom help too). Here are some pics, in no particular order. Vote for your favorite in the comments.

Baby

Welcome to the world little one. No, this not the baby from the maternity session below. This is the cutest new little girl with the cutest big brother. Best wishes and congratulations to mom and dad. You are in for a world of fun (and challenge) with a toddler and a new born.

V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N

I've been on vacation, in the summertime. Anytime I hear the word vacation, I have to sing that 1960 something song that my parent's loved to listen to.
Anyway, despite some major jet lag right now, I have a few photos to share from our trek through Europe. We have become good friends with a family who is originally from Germany. They planned to move back in 2005 and we promised to visit in 2006. When they decided to stay in the US an extra three years, we decided to visit anyway. We had a wonderful time visiting with their friends and family in Attendorn, Germany and visiting Paris, Zurich, Munich, and Cologne.
When my head is back on straight, I'll post a list of pros and cons from the trip. I can say now, though, that I was simply amazed by the good behavior of my two children (they get that from their mother, right?)
