I had a great photo shoot last week with these two cuties. This little girl is only 6 months old and is already crawling all over! She is trying her darnedest to keep up with her big brother. I think they'll end up being great friends when they get older.

If you read my blog, you know I just adore photographing babies. This little one was no exception. We got only a few smiles before she decided she was ready for a little snooze. Not a problem - I also like to photograph them sleeping. They just look too peaceful.

I'm still here

Okay, so it has been a while since I last blogged. I had an unspoken new year's resolution to post more to my blog so everyone could get to know me a little better. Well that last all of what? zero days? So, what have I been doing with my time? Some photography, but lots of running.
My husband has talked me into running the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon again this year. For those of you who don't know, I ran the marathon last year and swore I would never do it again (see May 2006 archives). When I ran last year, my husband decided he could not be outdone by me and vowed to run the marathon this spring. I told him that I would not recommend training alone and somehow that comment got me signed up to run again.

Pictured below are my trusted Pearl Izumi running shoes. A different pair got me through the marathon last year and I hope I only need to purchase one additional pair before this year's marathon.

If anyone is interested in training with us (and the rest of our running group), let me know and I'll add you to the weekly running email harassment.

Baby photos

I had a great photo session just before Christmas, and just now got a chance to post some shots. This little guy was so full of smiles through the entire session. I love working with three month old babies. They love to smile and they are too little to crawl away. It was pretty easy to capture some great images. Here are a few of my favorites.

Little Ones

These two girls were so much fun to photograph. I've never seen sisters so close in age who got along so well. They were much more interested in playing than getting their pictures taken. We did manage to get some nice shots though. Here are a few of my favorites.
