Wedding

I had a wonderful time being a part of the photography for this wedding. Everything was done
in style with an emphasis on "fun". It was a beautiful day, with beautiful settings, and beautiful people - a photographer's dream. Special thanks goes out to lead photographer, Neysa, for her constant inspiration. As I have said before, "you are a true joy to work with". Best wishes to the happy couple.

Family three

So, apparently October is "Family month". I've had the pleasure of working with many terrific families and I look forward to many more. I've been super busy lately and loving every minute of it. Be sure to check back frequently for many more photos from recent sessions.

Here are a few from a recent family session. We had planned to do the photos outside, but the weather had other ideas. They didn't even bat an eyelash when we had to move the session to the studio. These are a few of my favorites.

Family too

I had a wonderful photo shoot on Sunday morning with two great families, despite the 36 degree temperature. It was actually quite balmy compared to our photo shoot last year.

Four kids under the age of three can sound a little intimidating, but they were wonderful.

Family

I had the opportunity to do a photo shoot with this great family last weekend. I love to see kids getting along with their parents - you could tell that mother and daughter had a bond. The family enjoys outdoor activities together so, we tried to stick with an outdoor theme for the photos. Here are a few of my favorites.

Doing photo shoots with young teens is just phenomenal. They take direction, will sit or stand anywhere, and can hold a pose without complaint. The parents also enjoy seeing their kids as "models".

Tall Stacks

I had the opportunity to visit Cincinnati's Tall Stacks celebration with a few photographer friends. Every few years, steam boats from all over make their way to the Ohio River and dock in Cincinnati. They offer river cruises along with festivities on shore. It is quite the event. If you ever get the chance to take one of the riverboat cruises, I highly recommend it. It gives you a very different view of the river.

Maternity

I had so much fun shooting this maternity session. The girls were up for anything and, not wanting to be out done by his big sister, the big-brother-to-be even warmed up to the camera.

I love that pregnant women can feel so comfortable with their bellies, and show them off with pride. It's hard to believe this one is due in two weeks.

These two can't wait for their new baby brother or sister to arrive.
